Who is Johnny Longboat? According to local legend, Johnny Longboat was a humble fisherman from Pleasant City (now part of West Palm Beach). When a hurricane hit the area in 1928 and took out the bridge connecting Palm Beach Island to the mainland, it is said that he worked tirelessly to assist the families impacted by getting them back to the mainland and bringing food and fresh water with every trip back.
Johnny Longboat's offers a vibrant, tropical, flip-flop friendly experience for both locals and visitors, whether it's breakfast, lunch, dinner, or late-night drinks and sushi, evoking a vacation-like atmosphere for all guests. Enjoy live music Thursday - Sunday.
The diverse menu offers everything from the fan favorite, Grouper in a Bag, to fresh fish, oysters and clams, pastas, salads, juicy burgers and chicken wings. There is something for everyone here!
